The eNPI New Product Introduction section is a 4-Phase New Product Development Processs used successfully in multiple manufacturing companies. I co-founded this (along with my friend Damon Stoddard) and we used it in industry and we taught it at college. It is a Design For Six Sigma innovative, quantitiative, process-driven approach to managing a project from product idea to production release - that really works! I worked in corporate America for over 30 years, and 20 of those years were in new product development. This process is unique in its simplicity and efficacy. I’ve had two careers. My first was in corporate America. I started as an assembler while going to college. By the time my corporate career was over I had earned a few technical degrees, had an engineering license, earned a dozen patents, developed a lot of new products, and was a department manager, VP, and General Manager. I thoroughly enjoyed it. My second career is in the property damage mitigation industry. It became my second love, after engineering. Both careers involded problem solving, developing production processes, both mechanical and chemical, and working with great people. Teaching and training has been a part of both careers as well. Life is good!
